  • The Art of Black Joy: A Celebration of Life, Happiness, and Culture — January 2024-March 2024

    "The Art of Black Joy: A Celebration of Life, Happiness, and Culture" was a group exhibition that featured a collection of artworks exploring the joy and resilience inherent in Black culture, despite structural and personal challenges. The exhibit was displayed at the Monroe Township Library.

  • Afrofuturism: 100 Years After the Harlem Renaissance, curated by Atim Annette Oton — January 2024-February 2024

    The Harlem Renaissance exhibition showcased the work of African, African American, and Caribbean artists, focusing on their use of Afrofuturism to reclaim, liberate, and reimagine the past and future from a Black cultural perspective. This exhibition was on display at the Papermill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey.

  • Traditions and Transitions — January 2024-March 2024

    Featuring approximately 50 works by over 30 artists, Traditions and Transitions included traditional and contemporary art forms, ranging from still life to abstract expressionism.

  • Art for the Heart and Soul — November 2023-February 2024

    Overlook Auxiliary’s “Art at Overlook” program featured a new exhibition titled “Art for the Heart and Soul,” which was curated in partnership with the non-profit cultural institution, Art in the Atrium, Inc. The theme of the group exhibition was to uplift and encourage healing, with compassion, hope & love.

  • Art in Marcus Live Bar & Grille — December 2023

    Featured works are now on display in the new Marcus Live Bar & Grille, located in the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, NJ.

  • Art for the Heart and Soul — November 2023-February 2024

    Curated by Simone Craig of Art in the Atrium and Gwendolyn Barrington Jackson, in partnership with Overlook Auxiliary in Summit, NJ. this exhibition features 36 Black and Afro-Latino artists. Funds raised from this exhibit will support high-risk maternal health patients at the HealthStart Clinic at Overlook Medical Center.

    “I Am My Sister’s Keeper” was featured with Newark Arts during its first appearance at the largest art exhibition in New Jersey. The mission of @artfair14c is to increase opportunities for artists, expand public access to fine art, strengthen careers in the visual arts, and activate under-recognized arts areas.

    The 31st annual exhibit and sale, curated by Art in the Atrium in Atrium Gallery in Morristown, NJ. Cuddle Time, Mama and Me, and Never Lose Your Wonder are on display among the works of 55 established and emerging Black artists across the country.

    Curated by ace studio in Nutley, NJ, various works are featured alongside accomplished artists Ron REAP Powell, and Ricardo Osmondo Francis.

Marcus Live Bar & Grille

In early December ‘23, acclaimed chef and Food Network personality Marcus Samuelsson launched his latest restaurant Marcus Live! Bar and Grille in the American Dream Mall – the second largest mall in the US. Tasha Branham has 10 individual pieces featured on display, alongside other talented local artists.

Trenton City Museum, Ellarslie 39

The Opening Reception for the Ellarslie Open 39 was held on June 25. Over 300 artists submitted 527 different types of artwork to be judged for this juried exhibition. Tasha Branham won Best in Show for the Digital Art Category. Her featured piece titled, “Plants Are Friends,” was sold to a collector during the exhibition.

Newark International Airport, Terminal A,
"A Journey of Surprises"

As a part of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s $2.7 billion redevelopment program at Newark Liberty International Airport, the new Terminal A is showcasing the work of 29 local NJ artists with the intentions of creating a unique experience for those arriving to New Jersey. Tasha Branham’s piece, “Guarded,” is featured in three separate locations within the new terminal, which is expected to be open to the public in January 2023.
